Sir, – One would think doctors would be taught how to keep time. In all other professions, meeting patients and clients at an appointed time is seen as a bare minimum and common courtesy. We all understand emergencies happen, and things change at short notice from time to time, but the continuous and seemingly universally accepted rudeness of being consistently late for appointments appears to know no bounds among the medical profession. Such lateness can cause much stress for patients, which is not good for one’s health. Alas, it seems to be a doctor’s world, and we are consigned to accept such avoidable rudeness and disrespect. – Yours, etc,
RACHEL MINOGUE,
South Circular Road,
