Sir, – Bless Suzanne Crowe’s naivety (“We don’t need another report on child poverty – we need action”, Letters, September 29th).
Has she not realised that the main purpose of commissioning yet another report, on whatever subject, is to delay taking action?
Waiting on the arrival of the latest report being used as the excuse for doing nothing ... again.
If we were to make paper bricks from all the ignored reports commissioned over the years, we could probably build enough homes to end homelessness and reduce poverty. – Yours, etc.
