Sir, – Guinness describes his correspondence secretary, Colin Wolfe as “his owner (for want of a better word)”, (Letters, June 10th).

I am surprised such a well read and articulate feline as Guinness isn’t aware of the difference between cats and dogs. Dogs have owners. Cats have staff. – Yours, etc,
