Sir, - I read with envy the recent laments about the occasional difficult clue in the Simplex crossword. I possess a highly dyslexic, engineering-wired brain and if I manage to complete more than 50 per cent of Simplex, I count it as a personal triumph.

By contrast, it is a rare day indeed when I fail to complete over 80 per cent of Crosaire. Go figure – quite literally. - Yours, etc,
