Sir, – In his letter (“National parks – a programme of investment and renewal”, November 2nd) defending his ministerial tenure, Malcolm Noonan, Minister of State for Nature, signs off thus: “I have set us on the right trajectory, now it’s up to the next government to continue to turn this ship around.”
