Sir, – As a music fan, this year I have been lucky enough to see the American band Mr Big in the Academy in Dublin. Tickets were €35 with no reports of resales. I saw Robert Cray from one of the comfortable seats in the National Concert Hall.
I also went to the Bruce Springsteen concert where, after queuing for over an hour (and missing the start of the performance), I got to watch the star on a big screen while listening to drunks around me singing Springsteen songs.
