Sir, – A number of weeks ago, my partner and I received a vehicle licensing certificate in the post.
It had our address on it, but was not for a name or a car that we recognised.
We returned it to sender with a cover note and promptly forgot about it.
Yesterday morning, I received the same certificate again and my cover note, along with a letter informing me that it is apparently my responsibility to report the error to my local Garda station.
