Sir, – Regardless of the irony of being printed directly about a headline that read “Chilly June one of the coldest on record”, your article on research results from Maynooth University scientists (“Temperatures over 30 degrees to be more frequent”, News, July 3rd) does offer us a small piece of comfort.
