Sir, – Further to “The new approach was a no-brainer – it transformed the class and engaged more students” (Secret Teacher, Education, Opinion, January 16th), is there another word or phrase more grating and denigrating than “no-brainer”?
The Secret Teacher distinctly outlines a teaching style that is considered, informed, and positively child centred – and the absolute opposite of the trite “no-brainer” headline. – Yours, etc,
