Sir, – The continued detention of what can be called an errant citizen must be seen as very concerning by any just-minded person.

Mr Burke’s “crime” seems now to be his disregard and disrespect of a petulant and precious judiciary which values its image above the liberty of a person. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – It should not require a High Court order for Enoch Burke to stay away from Wilson’s Hospital School.

If he thinks the school’s policy of openness and inclusivity is an affront to his religious beliefs, he could, in all conscience, choose not to attend. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Can we please stop bringing this outrageous family to court where they show a blatant disregard for the country, the courts, the staff and the law with their completely unearned belief in their own infallibility and godliness?
