Sir, – On Sunday thousands of marathon runners splashed their way through our city renowned for literary excellence and were rewarded at the finish line with a WB Yeats themed medal.
The irony of mis-spelling his Nobel (“noble”) Prize on the medal would not be lost on the poet himself, nor on the 22,500 runners when they finally recover enough to lift the medal and recall with noble joy their “Running to Paradise”. – Yours, etc,
