A better mousetrap

Sir, – Further to Mark Paul’s frustrating experience with a mouse in his London abode (“It was him or me: the battle to catch Mr Jingles, our furry little London lout”, World, September 6th), I have learned through experience that the best bait for a mechanical mousetrap is a little piece of Cadbury Flake.

Because it is crumbly, it must be eaten on the spot, with severe consequences for the mouse.
