Sir, – Further to your letter writer’s experience paying €21.50 for two glasses of wine (Letters, August 9th), I’d like to remind both tourists and locals that the price list is available at the entrance and on the menus of all bars and restaurants.
One way to limit the shock of being charged such amounts is to check these prices prior to ordering. – Yours, etc,
