Sir, – On foot of Nick Maxwell’s letter (August 1st) regarding an information resource (www.gloine.ie) about stained glass in Church of Ireland churches, could I direct your interested readers to the excellent revised edition of the Gazetteer of Irish Stained Glass edited by David Caron and published by the Irish Academic Press in 2021. This contains 2,500 entries describing stained glass in Irish churches of all denominations and is beautifully illustrated. I suggest you keep it in the car as a useful guide. – Yours, etc,
