Sir, – The front page of The Irish Times on Saturday (July 1st) has a picture of Helen McEntee and highlights an article by Jennifer Bray discussing sexism following her return from maternity leave.
Brianna Parkins has an excellent article discussing misogyny in Irish society (“Misogyny in Ireland is quiet. But it’s there”, Magazine, July 1st).
She states that sexism in Ireland is hard to call out without looking crazy.
Then, inside the magazine, there is an article entitled “A Mother’s guide to stress-free holidays”.
