Sir,– Entertainment “noise” is a nationwide problem. It’s a pollution problem that inhibits the quality of life of many people living near public houses and hotels.
To many people their home is their castle. A place where they can feel a sense of control over their lives. A place where they may be convalescing from illness or going through grief or suffering a disability, or enjoying retirement, or have a new baby in the house. All these personal elements of their social and personal life should be treated with respect under law. – Yours, etc,
