Sir, – As a user of bank ATMs, I appreciate the option of receiving a withdrawal slip with a cash withdrawal. I also appreciate that the ATM screen gives the option to receive a slip or not. There is even an option to dispose of such slips in an adjoining bin if unwanted. What I find unacceptable, however, is that, at most ATMs I frequent, the disposal bin is invariably full, and, in many cases, stuffed to overflowing. Perhaps bank staff might check these and empty them on a more regular basis. – Yours, etc,
