Sir, – A rare moment of hilarity in otherwise parlous times: our Tánaiste having a hissy fit about a news website “trying to take down the Government” (News, April 28th). Micheál’s skin was stretched very thin. – Yours, etc,

A chara, – When Micheál Martin was asked a question by Holly Cairns in the Dáil, his response was to blame The Ditch.

If it wasn’t for The Ditch, we would not have found out about Robert Troy and Damien English.

We need freedom of the press, not the Tánaiste blaming The Ditch for its agenda. – Is mise,
