Housing crisis

Sir, – The Government proposes to hold a referendum on Article 41.2 of the Constitution to remove the “protection” for women in the home.

Could this be because during this housing crisis, many of the women of Ireland don’t actually have a home in which to be protected? – Yours, etc,
