Sir, – I thoroughly enjoyed Jenny Curran’s article on her plans for her funeral (Health + Family, February 14th). I had a similar discussion recently with some of my family. My 12-year-old grandson found it fascinating! He asked me to write it down, so I did. He has the “requests” filed away safely!
Among the requests, so far, are colourful clothes, wicker basket, absolutely no “trinkets” brought to the alter, lively music and, hopefully, very happy memories! I’m hoping it will be a long time down the road, by which time I might have a few more requests! – Yours, etc,
