Sir, – Dublin City Council’s rollout of designated cycle routes is to be commended wholeheartedly, and cycling in urban areas may become safer and more fun. However, the improvements are completely undermined if your bike is stolen when parked.
The city needs secure parking and greater deterrents against people who steal and then sell bikes. – Yours, etc,
