Sir, – I appreciate Chris Goggins’s advice (Letters, December 26th). But why should we need the services of a health insurance broker to sift through the complicated and confusing tableau presented by health insurers? For all of my other insurances (car, home, etc), I can choose to consult a broker or alternatively with moderate effort “check the field” and decide for myself. This is well-nigh impossible with my health insurance which is expensive enough with having to add the seemingly mandatory expense of an broker. – Yours, etc,
