Sir, – Although in full agreement with your correspondents regarding the removal of car parking in the environs of Leinster House (Letters, December 22nd), it should be noted that the facade fronting Kildare Street, colloquially referred to as “the front of the Dáil”, is in fact the rear of the building. The formal entrance or “the front” of the building actually faces Merrion Square. – Yours, etc,
