Sir, – Eamon Ryan suggests that the Dáil car park can be converted into green space (“Convert Dáil car park into ‘green space in the centre of the city’, Eamon Ryan says”, News, December 2nd). Presumably he will supply all TDs with spades and shovels so they can keep themselves occupied over Christmas, or maybe grow vegetables for the Dáil restaurant. – Yours, etc,
