Sir, – I wholeheartedly agree with Matt Williams’s plea to fans to use their voices to roar on the Irish rugby team today at the Aviva Stadium (Sport, October 29th).
Having paid €240 for two tickets, I can guarantee that I won’t be taking selfies, chatting or excusing myself as I disturb other match-goers on my way to the bar, as play continues.
I’m hoping to be hoarse at the end of an Irish victory!
