Sir, – Ken Foxe reports that Nama “offered expertise and know-how to government to help resolve the ‘housing problem’” (Business, October 10th).
Given that Nama was a major contributor to the housing problem in the first place, due to the fact that it sold off large “portfolios” of housing stock to foreign investors, one should question its credentials. Offering each property for sale individually on the Irish market to hopeful first-time buyers would have required a lot more work and shall we say “expertise”. – Yours, etc,
