A chara, – Reading the chilling article “Which nuclear weapons could Putin use against Ukraine?” (News, October 5th), it hardly seems credible that we, humans, have created a situation where some of us get away with being in possession of weaponry that threatens to annihilate all life and devastate our planet.
If we manage to be lucky yet again and scrape through this critical time without a nuclear mishap, could we please urgently make nuclear weapons the number one environmental issue for us to tackle. – Is mise,
