Sir, – Bus, Dart and Luas services have not kept up with a modern Ireland where pubs are staying open later and concerts are playing on into the night.
Irish Rail also needs to provide later services late at night. Most lines are closed by 7pm.
This is not only a weekend problem, as over 41,000 people attended the international soccer match recently, with concerts in the Three arena and elsewhere and many theatre performances across the country.
