Sir, – Michael Harding’s article “At 69 you have to make a fierce effort to avoid being labelled doddery” (Life, September 21st) is very disconcerting to those of us over-70s from Cavan who remember him as a “young fella”.
Take heart, Michael; to us you are still a young fella and most of us over-70s are not doddery, yet! – Yours, etc,
