Sir, – The article “Car traffic volumes remain below pre-pandemic levels” (News, September 13th) lists some interesting data, but surely such articles should now be declaring where volumes are versus where they need to be to achieve our emissions targets?
It would seem the number of unnecessary car journeys continues to the detriment of our environment. – Yours, etc,
