Sir, – Good luck to all students receiving their Leaving Certificate results and their parents and guardians who will be eagerly awaiting the results via text or phone call. This particular year group have experienced unprecedented upheaval during the course of their entire two-year senior cycle programme of study. Continuity was almost impossible with technology having to replace in-person contact, all during very formative years of development for our young people. The Leaving Certificate class of 2022 have overcome many challenges and displayed resilience beyond their years. This will serve them well. They are to commended and I wish them every success, health and happiness in their future. – Yours, etc,
