Sir, – Are my eyes deceiving me? A proposal for Irish military to train Ukrainian military? (“Minister for Defence to discuss potential initiative with EU ministerial colleagues”, News, August 26th).
After six months of intense military conflict, I would have thought that it should be the Ukrainians teaching the Irish how to fight.
