Sir, – I’ve become weary of Irish Water’s warnings; risk of drought, reducing water use, it’s easy-to-use conservation calculator and patronising drawls such as “small changes can make a significant difference”, when a few consecutive days of warm weather encompass our island of reasonable and intelligent citizens.
Could Irish Water please just get on with the task of harvesting and storing the copious amounts of water that the weather brings us for the greatest part of the year?
It seems we can enjoy nothing now without a caveat from some quarter or other. – Yours, etc,
