Sir, – It’s worth noting that a pest controller found no evidence that a mouse was responsible for eating An Garda Síochána’s vital chocolate rations (“Mouse causes ‘mass panic’ at Garda HQ”, News, July 1st).
If comestibles stored in the State’s most secure building are not safe from phantom nibblers, can one imagine what is in store for unfortunate chocoholics moving into the co-living “apartments” promoted by Fine Gael? – Yours, etc,
