Sir, – In support of letters from Grace Shorten and Paul Crowe (June 30th) on the question of schools making provision for pupils with special needs, it is typical, in my experience over many years, for Ministers and officials in their departments to behave as if they were living on two different planets!
For example? Criticising schools, on the one hand, for not making provision for pupils with special needs while, on the other hand, failing to provide them with means of doing so! – Yours, etc,
