Sir, – Your columnists are fond of writing about how the UK is failing due to Brexit and poor leadership. Fair enough. But smugly contrasting Ireland as a beacon of enlightenment raises eyebrows. Many aspects of Ireland remain woeful. What other major capital city doesn’t have a rail link to its airport for example?
