An article in yesterday’s edition, concerning Cardinal Ouellet’s meeting with survivors of institutional abuse, said Oliver Burke was with the Right of Place charity. Mr Burke left it in 2010 and formed Munster Survivors Support Services.
An article in last Tuesday’s edition, concerning a strike at Bord na Móna, said in error that the company and the unions were in the Labour Court in April over the company’s offer of a 1 per cent pay increase. The article also stated the court deemed the workers’ claim to be valid. The court said it was satisfied the claim was valid, insofar as it related to the first phase of the agreement, and it recommended negotiations on how the claim could be satisfactorily addressed.
