A teenage boy is in a critical condition in a Belfast hospital this morning after being stabbed in a fight between two groups of youths early this morning.

The victim was stabbed once during the row in Cliftonville Avenue area of north Belfast at around 2.00am.

He was brought to the Mater Hospital.

Police have ruled out a sectarian motive for the fight.
