Gardaí are searching for a teenager after he absconded from Tallaght Courthouse this afternoon.
The 17-year-old was being brought from the court to the cells when he fled. He had been appearing in court on a number of charges relating to car theft.
He was pursued by several gardaí and prison officers, but made his escape in a car which had apparently been waiting outside the courthouse.
