The Workers' Party last night called the Budget "extremely disappointing", saying that it had failed to live up to its own "modest promises".
"Those without jobs are going to remain without jobs while those living in poverty will continue to live in poverty", said Cllr Tomas MacGiolla. All the Budget had done was come up with more schemes for the unemployed "and the throwing of money at employers to take on long term unemployed people".
