A 27-year-old woman has died from injuries she received after being hit by an ambulance  in Co Louth early yesterday morning

A 27-year-old woman has died from injuries she received after being hit by an ambulance  in Co Louth early yesterday morning

She has been named as Gloria Corrigan from Oriel Park, Emyvale, Co Monaghan.

The incident occured at Carrickastuck, Hackballscross, Dundalk, Co Louth.

A second pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was also hurt but his injuries are not said to be life threatening.
