A 50-year-old woman has been knocked down and killed by a bus in Newry, Translink confirmed today.
She was on Merchant's Quay when the accident happened this afternoon.
A Translink spokeswoman said: "We are assisting PSNI with their enquires.
"We extend our sympathies and condolences to the family. Our thoughts are also with the driver."
A police spokeswoman said they were investigating and asked anybody with information to contact them.
