Gardaí in Limerick are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at a house at Gerald Griffin Street during the early hours of the morning.
A 24-year-old woman was shot in the hand at around 5am. Gardaí later recovered a sawn off shotgun at the house.
The woman is recovering in the Mid Western Regional Hospital.
