An elderly woman is reported to have suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a garda patrol car in South Dublin this evening.
It is understood the woman was standing at a bus stop in Clonskeagh when the incident ocurred.
She has been taken to St Vincent's Hospital for treatment.
A garda spokesman said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
