A South African woman was arrested by gardai at Dublin Airport yesterday after the discovery of 50 kilogrammes of cannabis in luggage. Immigration officers stopped the woman as part of their routine inspections when she arrived on a plane from Vienna.
The seizure is estimated to be worth over £100,000.
