A 60-year-old woman was critically injured when a fire broke out in her flat on James's Street, Dublin, at 12.40 a.m. yesterday. She was taken to St James's Hospital. Also yesterday, three men were arrested in connection with the early-morning burning of five cars in Cabinteely. Two 18-year olds and one 20-year-old were detained at Dun Laoghaire Garda station. The cars were set on fire at Cabinteely Avenue, Monaloe Park Road and Gort na Mona Drive. The flames from one car caused damage to a house, but the occupants - a couple and a baby - escaped.
