A man (47) was taken to hospital suffering from multiple stab wounds in Belfast last night.
The attack happened at Cultra Street in north Belfast shortly after 9 p.m.
Police said the man suffered a large number of stab wounds to his back, although his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
One woman has been arrested.
