A woman, who was in her 20s, died following a two car collision in Co Cork tonight.
Gardai at Fermoy Garda Station are investigating the crash which happened at 5.55 pm on the N8 at Monadrishane, Kilworth, between Fermoy and Mitchelstown.
The driver of one car, a woman, died following the crash.
The male passenger in her car was rushed to Cork University Hospital for treatment. The driver and passenger in the other car were not seriously injured.
Gardai have appealed to anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them at Fermoy on 025 82100.
