Wicklow gardaí seek help tracing missing man

The Garda in Wicklow has issued an appeal for assistance in tracing a Dublin man who has been missing for over a week.

The Garda in Wicklow has issued an appeal for assistance in tracing a Dublin man who has been missing for over a week.

Mr Patrick Hoey (54) from Phibsboro was last seen in the Glendalough area on Saturday, January 22 nd. His car was found parked and locked near the Upper Lake the following day.

A number of extensive searches have been carried out in the area by Gardaí and the Mountain Rescue.

Mr Hoey is described as being 5ft 9 inches of medium build with grey hair, a moustache and large square gold-rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts should contact Gardai at Wicklow Station at 0404-60147.
