Labour leader, Ruairi Quinn will be telling Britain's trade unionists all about our successful social partnership when he addresses the Trade Union Congress at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Wednesday. It is believed to be the first time a political leader from overseas has been invited to speak to the comrades, and his speech is scheduled for the televised period.
How our experience of partnership will go down remains to be seen, but he will probably have his work cut out holding their attention for the second part of his address: "Ireland's preparations for the single currency".
